Monday - 052818 - Memorial Day - "Murph"

In memory of Navy Lt. Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, New York, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it Body Armor. From here on it will be referred to as Murph in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.

We have an abbreviated schedule on Monday - only 3 heats of this workout: 10am, 11am & 12pm. We ask that you show up 15-20 minutes before your heat and start to warm up. If you haven't done so already, you can also use this time to come up with a plan for tackling this workout. The actual RX version of this workout is Weighted Vest, unpartitioned. You don't have to do this obviously, it's just the original variant. You can also choose to not wear a vest or to partition the middle work as necessary. A popular method for completing this is performing 20 rds of 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 air squats.  No matter which way you choose to perform this workout, it's going to be tough. Come ready to rock & roll.

FYI - We are adding this workout to the Leaderboard (which we will start to update...again). If you want to be in contention you either need to ask for a judge or record yourself.
