Zoom sessions for the week

Hello all,
I know it’s been a weird week, and by weird I mean sad and stressful. The free time is nice, the circumstances causing it, are not. It’s hard not to think about the thousands of people dying, the overwhelmed hospitals and the crumbling economy.

It’s hard to find the silver lining. It’s hard not to let my imagination be directed by fear and worry. It’s hard for every person working 24/7 in the hospitals trying to save as many lives as possible. It’s hard to ignore social media, the charts and graphics projecting our demise. It’s hard not to get angry at those who fetish over the notion of an apocalypse coming true. Simply, it’s hard.

None the less, I have hope. I have hope that things will be normal one day, sooner than later. I have hope that our normal will be different - a better normal, a more loving and supportive normal.

So for the time being, CFGP is going to do what it knows best - provide an environment that perpetuates health and fitness, both physically and mentally. This last week we played around with home workouts and zoom workouts - trying to find the best way to provide the sweat, laughs, and love that our everyday classes provide.

With that said, we found that the Zoom workouts delivered. For the next week or two (depending how things go), we’ll be doing a daily Zoom workout. The WOD will be posted around the usual evening hours so you’ll know how to better prepare for the Zoom workout.

Just to be clear - there will NOT be two separate workouts - there will be one WOD. You can either do it on your own OR join the Zoom class live. You also have the option of watching the Zoom recording AFTER the class.

We’re going to do our very darn (said in Kylees voice :) ) best to make this the best possible experience for you - so please be patient with us as we figure out the kinks and clanks of online classes.
