Kylee began her CrossFit training in September of 2010. She was inspired to get her Level 1 Certification shortly after. Despite her nerves during her first local competition...Kylee decided to compete as an individual at the CrossFit NorthEast Regionals in 2011 where she came in 6th place. As Kylee grew in her training, she decided that she wanted to continue to compete as well as incorporate her singing passion into the mix somehow. So, that’s exactly what she did! In 2013 Kylee competed on a team that won the CrossFit NorthEast Regionals and placed 5th at the CrossFit Games in Carson, California. Kylee was excited to be asked to kick off the events by singing the National Anthem at Regionals that year as well as the following year where the team went on to win the CrossFit NorthEast Regionals and place 16th at the CrossFit Games!
Kylee has been a proud Coach since November 2010. She is so grateful to have Athletes trust her with their fitness goals as she helps them break through obstacles that have challenged her so much along the way. “It’s not just the physical, but the emotional and mental strength that must be pushed and fed to prepare an athlete to do amazing things,” Kylee says. She recently launched her clothing line called Uplift Clothing Crew. The brand was created in an effort to make people think deeper about what we are doing, how we spend our energy and what we are made for. Kylee feels her purpose in life is to uplift others, which by definition means to strengthen, inspire, and restore. Uplift Clothing Crew is about being a part of something bigger and doing everything with a purpose. In doing so, there is meaning, integrity and reward. She encourages others to never get tired of doing good because we were ALL designed to uplift! “I know my strength is not my own...but it’s God given and that’s what gets me through the nerves and feeling weak. I know that He keeps me strong,“ Kylee says, as she motivates other athletes that wonder what her experience has taught her thus far!
